Brook Bello
Author
Recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama and the White House, Dr. Brook Parker-Bello is a survivor and champion against human trafficking. Her human experience as an actress, justice advocate, and thought leader allows her to bring critical perspective, depth, and engagement to the root causes of human trafficking, which highlights avenues for prevention and victim services. Inspired to ensure that survivors have a voice and trustworthy source for help and healing, Brook founded More Too Life, Inc, an organization which has been a beacon of hope across America and the world for 19 years. In addition to More Too Life, Brook created digital and copy educational curriculum platforms aimed at the prevention of sexual exploitation and gender-based violence which are critical aspects within the Miami/Dade County and Florida court-appointed courses such as Legacy Of The Father, RJEDE, and Live Until You Die.
With the tech and copy world now within her belt, and adamant to do even more, Brook launched Eval, a new mental healthcare tech which was immediately chosen by Techstars Founders Catalyst. An alumnus of the Master’s Series of Distinguished Leaders, Brook holds a US Patent in technology and is the creator of groundbreaking software in mental healthcare, case management, AI, and machine learning virtual reality.
Author of the powerful book, and incredible tool for survivors, Living Inside The Rainbow: Winning The Battlefield Of The Mind After Human Trafficking and Mental Bondage, and S+CxM=O, an inspiring work on faith and destiny, Brook has released two new pieces of work: Shame Undone, an incredible story about a teenager who flees the abuse of her broken family, and Fine Heart Table Book, a piece supported by All For Humanity which showcases a collection of paintings by survivors. Championed by Marina Picasso and the Carlyle Group, the beautiful table book launched at the Picasso Villa in Cannes. From there, they released the table book during the special events in Monaco 2022, where Brook was a speaker at the Carlyle Global Summit. Brook’s PhD in Pastoral Clinical Counseling, combined with her grit and motivation to help those in crisis, makes her a powerful force in the world of anti-human trafficking. She is a motivating speaker for anyone that needs to be inspired with a heart that stretches even beyond the lives of victims that, until Brook, were left laying by the wayside. It’s therefore, no wonder that Brook has been recognized for her work including speaking at the United Nations and alongside presidents, prime Ministers, and fellow change-makers at universities, federal agencies, in podcasts, and even featured in publications such as Yahoo Finance, Ebony, Essene, and dozens of digital platforms. Brook was named Advocate of the Year by Florida’s Attorney General Pam Bondi and Governor Rick Scott and named by United Way Worldwide as a Hero on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Google even named Brook as a Google Next-Gen Fellow for the years 2017-2024. Brook attended Seminary, where she studied behavior and faith. This field of study opened the doors to work with the FBI, DOJ, US HHS, Harvard, Georgetown Law School, and dozens of for profit and nonprofit companies in the US, Europe, Singapore, and the Caribbean. Brook’s mission has always been to raise awareness and to support initiatives that are working to address the life-shattering issues at hand today. Brook is an inspiration and role model for girls, women, boys, and even men everywhere. Brook currently lives in South Florida with her husband and two pups. She works passionately with staff, colleagues, and other partners around the world. Her stance remains: “I raise up my voice with love—not so that I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard.”
